Extensive Collection of hashioki, for resting the used tip of Ohashi, Japanese chopsticks. The ability of the Japanese to constantly invent new forms and materials for the little hashioki,‘chopstick pillows’  is staggering. There are a number of very valuable hashioki in this collection of more than 100 pieces. They are stored in a traditional jubako, stacking boxes, made of the very high quality plastic that the Japanese have developed which is informed by their long tradition of gorgeous lacquerware.
