Seven very old Buddhist scrolls. Pieces are small, about 20" in complementary distressed mixed gold-tone frames. These depict notable Buddhist figures that would have been important to a family and be hung in the family butsudan, a huge Buddhist home altar (around the size of our large refrigerators). Bought from a dealer in Nara, Japan in 1987.
