Made by the descendants of the Tibetan priests who were with the Dali Lama when he escaped Tibet in 1959 and came through Nepal on the way to Dharamsala. A group of the retinue pealed off thinking he would return to Tibet shortly.They are still in Nepal, stateless and earning a living by making these images.
